ABOUT SIMONA DANIELE

SIMONA Daniele is a Jazz vocalist based in New York City, and born in Italy. She is known for her warm tone, expressive phrasing, and a distinctive blend of swing, cinematic lyricism, and Mediterranean colors.

Originally from Calabria and raised near Milan, she holds two Master’s Degrees in Jazz: one from the Conservatory Giuseppe Verdi in Milan in Jazz Voice, and one from The City College of New York in Jazz Performance, where she studied as a Fulbright Scholar, part of the U.S. government’s prestigious cultural-exchange program.

In New York, Simona is an active presence on the jazz scene, performing regularly at Dizzy’s Club (Jazz at Lincoln Center), where she hosts the Vocal Jam Session, as well as at Mezzrow and Roxy Bar NYC. Her work has also taken her to Blues Alley in Washington DC, Black Cat in San Francisco, and the Italian Cultural Institute of New York.

In Italy, she has appeared at Blue Note Milano, the Peperoncino Jazz Festival, and performed with the Italian National Jazz Orchestra at Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome and at Expo Dubai 2020.

Alongside her music performing career, Simona is also a dedicated vocal coach and cultural bridge-builder, committed to connecting Italian jazz heritage with New York’s vibrant contemporary scene.
